Romans 8:31

(Aldste Cummings)

Hallå där grabbar!

I hope you have all had a great week! This week was definitely a good one for us. A lot of exciting things are going on here in Karlskrona!

On Tuesday, Elder Burns and I traveled down to Malmö to attend zone conference the next day. We stayed with the zone leaders there which was really fun and I was able to see my good friend and former companion Elder Harris. He's such a great missionary and an even better person.

Zone conference was a blast. It's always so fun to see all the other missionaries from around the zone. The whole conference focused, as usual, on how we can be better missionaries and some of the things that were brought up were how we could allow our personalities to shine through as well as how we can strengthen our relationships with the members in our respective congregations. It was enlightening and inspiring. Elder Burns and I are already putting our plans into action concerning how we can strengthen and support the members in our beloved Karlskrona Branch.

This week, we played soccer with a family with small children. It was really fun. Afterward, we taught a short lesson about how life is like a soccer match. Our goal is happiness in this life and eternal life with our Father in Heaven in the life to come. However, we have opponents who try to stop us and keep us from making our goal. We have our own team and teammates though one of which is God and Jesus Christ. Just like good passing and team camaraderie is necessary to win a soccer match, we must also make use of our teammates and trust them to help us. If we build strong relationships with our Heavenly Father and His son, we can't lose! After all, "If God be for us, who can be against us?"(Romans 8:31)

Have a great week!

Love,
Äldste Cummings
