To the best friends and family a person could hope for,
This week's title came from a time when we were on a
crosswalk in Rexburg, and the cars that were stopped starting yelling at us.
One guy yelled where we were from (a question I've probably been asked 1000
times) and told us he loved us. Another guy screamed. "I didn't know you
guys existed in this town!" I think being a missionary in south east Idaho
is the closest I'll ever get to becoming a celebrity. Some people get so
excited when they see us, it's weird. I'm not used to getting so much attention.
Time is moving like crazy though. I can't believe it's
almost July! The days feel super long, but the weeks feel short. Tomorrow is
zone conference again, but this time it's going to be in person! Yay!
Unfortunately we'll have to wear masks though. Less yay. Apparently there's a
surprise speaker. I'm thinking it's going to be Shia LaBeouf telling us to just
do it. Just kidding. I'll let you know next week who it is.
This was my first week leading our district council as a
district leader. I gave a training on improvement through the atonement. The
reason we are here on earth is to improve and become better. And the thing about improvement, is that it's
hard. It's hard to change bad habits, and start good ones. It's hard to grow
the attributes that we and our Heavenly Father would like us to have. But
change is definitely worth it (unless you're Batman. Then there's no need to
change), and is possible. Pray and ask Heavenly Father for help. Make goals.
Set plans. I know you can receive strength to improve as you put in the effort.
Happy July 4th everybody! Don't let your dreams be dreams!
Just Do it! Idaho'nt give up!
